Footprints Academy serves children in Kindergarten through 6th grade elementary school.  We are conveniently located in Woodbury, MN and primarily serve students and parents in the St. Paul, MN area primarily in Woodbury, Stillwater, Lake Elmo, Maplewood, and Oakdale, MN.

Footprints Academy Student Earns Perfect Score in the Noetic Math Contest

Footprints Academy student Donald Hau of Lake Elmo was one of just two students nationwide to earn a perfect score in the third grade division.

Several students from Footprints Academy completed in the Noetic Math Contest. The contest is held twice a year and is open to all elementary students. More than 3,500 students representing 304 teams across the country participated in the contest.

Several Footprints Academy students including Cole Peterson of Woodbury earn the National Honor Roll designation by scoring in the top 10% of participating students.

Footprints Academy Teaching Staff Honored by Woodbury Chamber of Commerce

The Footprints Academy teaching staff was recently named Woodbury Chamber Commerce’s Teaching Staff of the Year.  They received this for their exceptional skill, dedication to education, and for having a positive influence in the lives of their students.  

 

Footprints Academy is a non-denominational, private K-6 elementary school located in Woodbury, MN.  Benefits for students of Footprints Academy include:  small class sizes of only 18 students per class in grades 1- 6, a more home-like environment, one home room teacher per grade, and teaching specialists in Spanish, Science, Media/Technology, Music, Physical Education and Art.

 

 

Nicole Robbins Named Woodbury Chamber of Commerce’s Citizen of the Year

Local educator and business owner, Nicole Robbins was recently named Woodbury’s Citizen of the Year by the Woodbury Chamber of Commerce.  Robbins was recognized for her involvement and generous spirit within the Woodbury community. 

 

Founder and owner of Peace of Mind Early Education Center and Footprints Academy Elementary School, Robbins has been a Woodbury business owner for 16 years.  Giving back to the community that so generously welcomed her 16 years ago has been a primary goal for Robbins.

 

Robbins and the Footprints staff are involved in many activities throughout the Woodbury community including:  volunteering at King of Kings Lutheran Church, support for the Madison Claire Foundation, Holiday Lights in the Park, Woodbury Days, Relay for Life, the Woodbury Community Foundation, and the Citizen’s Academy.  Memberships in local organizations include:  the Woodbury Chamber of Commerce and Business Networking International (BNI) Business Builders Chapter of Woodbury.  Robbins states, “So much comes back to you when you participate and give back to others.”

 

Peace of Mind Early Education is a non-franchise, locally owned childcare center in Woodbury.  The mission of Peace of Mind Early Education Center is to provide quality, worry-free educational child care for our community’s children so that parents can achieve the ultimate goal, Peace of Mind.

The purpose of the contest is to encourage students' interest in math and to inspire students to excel in math. The contest results show that Footprints students can rise to the occasion and can meet the challenge. It also demonstrates our students’ great math skills and talents.
