Mission Statement
We believe that each child has within them the power and ability to make the world a richer place. We wish to serve as the catalyst that sparks that power within each child, enabling them to reach their full potential. By providing an environment that is academically excellent, focusing on basic values and responsibilities, developing high expectations for children, fostering creativity and individuality, we can expect and celebrate each child’s ultimate success.
Footprints Academy serves children in Kindergarten through 6th grade elementary school. We are conveniently located in Woodbury, MN and primarily serve students and parents in the St. Paul, MN area primarily in Woodbury, Stillwater, Lake Elmo, Maplewood, and Oakdale, MN.
Darlah Krug ~ Principal, Footprints Academy
After teaching four year at Footprints Academy I am honored to be principal of this amazing school for the 2011-2012 school year. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. I attended the University of Wisconsin- Madison (Go Badgers) for my undergraduate work and then received my Masters Degree in Education from National Louis University in Chicago. I am currently working on my second Masters in Educational Leadership through the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. After having taught 7 years in Chicago my husband Tim and I moved to Hudson, Wisconsin to be closer to family. When I am not spending time with them I love to read, attend theater and sporting events, travel, play tennis, and SHOP! I am so blessed each day to surround myself with such phenomenal children and work with such an incredible teaching team!
